Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) experiments were conducted on thermoset resins (95 wt% dicyclopentadiene (DCPD), 5 wt% 5-ethylidene-2-norbornene (ENB)) containing varying concentrations of catalyst and inhibitor. The samples were tested at a fixed heating rate in order to compare the enthalpy of reaction (∆Hr) released during the ring-opening metathesis (ROMP) reaction. This dataset is intended to be used as a reference for the range of ∆Hr values typically achieved using the 95:5 wt% DCPD:ENB monomer resin.
